ANNOUNCING … an hour of prayer for Footprints in 2011!

Who:

Footprints readers and supporters – anyone who loves Footprints, has a passion and a burden for our ministry, and is willing to pray for one hour.

What:

One hour of prayer for Footprints Women’s Ministries Inc. This is NOT about coffee, chat or fellowship. IT IS ONE HOUR OF PRAYER – specifically for Footprints, and NOT our own individual needs and concerns, or even those of loved ones or our readers.

When:

Saturday 15 January, 2-3pm

Where:

Homes across Australia! (Those who live near Cleveland are welcome to join me at my home – email editor@footprintsaustralia.com for address details).

Why:

Because without God, there is no point in doing Footprints. We need His guidance and help!

Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain …

How:

It is my hope that there will be Footprints prayers going up all over Australia! If you want to get involved, you can pray individually in your own home – or invite others in your area to join you.

Of course if you can’t make it for that exact hour/day, then plan it for as close to it as possible.

Please register by emailing editor@footprintsaustralia.com asap. I will then send out a list to guide your prayers, which can be printed or written out on slips of paper, and put into a hat or bowl. During the prayer time, draw out one at a time and pray over that item until “prayed out” (this could be 30 seconds or 10 minutes).

If you love Footprints, and believe in this ministry, please consider getting involved in our Footprints hour of prayer for 2011! And if you can think of any specific items for prayer, please send them to me so I can add them to the list.

Great idea Janet – a modern version of “What Happens When Women Pray” – a book that changed my walk…

Mine too Georgie :-)

The Lord was challenging me if I really believed in the power of prayer, and this idea was the result … I am truly blessed and encouraged by each one who is joining with us, and can’t wait to see what God will do in 2011 and beyond!

To pray for all those in Queensland. Nsw, Vic.
May God send them, Hope, and Strenght, to see,
them through, and to give them Understanding, that
LIFE, truly is a gift, never to be taken for granted.

Also that all Australian’s help each other, as well as all
Refugees.

It is in giving, that we are truly blessed and contented.

AMEN.

To all who celebrate Valentines day.
I hope you have someone special to share this day with.
Always remember the highest form of love is not just a feeling.
but respect, commitment, care, understanding and honour.
Love is not selfish or unkind, does not seek it’s own interest,
but is giving and compassionate.
In the words of my Greek language teacher Nina Black, love is the
highest form of communication, between families, friends and love ones.
I wish all footprints readers all around the world, LOVE which is the seed
for PEACE, Tolerance, equality, faith, hope, joy and commitment to GOD’s WILL.

thankyou,
your christian , sister, Leah pallaris.

Prayer is truly a powerful way to reach out to ones inner self and to consolidate with God. When ever something bad happen, I always turn to prayer to seek guidance and a peace of mind to see things though the chaos.
