I now live in Toowoomba and know about Easter Fest, but wonder whether maybe this upbeat kind of festival is really representing the true meaning of Easter? Christianity and Salvation requires repentance, not crowd surfing... I am on the fence with this one. It is a good outreach, costly to go to Easter Fest tho.... Many commentators who you assume would have issue with him have been dumping on his early critics. They say he is entitled to his view and don't see any good reason to abuse him about it. Or maybe that's a sign that we've become so unmainstream that we are being protected like a threatened species. Why not engage these people in questions about the meaning of life? Do we wait until the come to us before we engage with them? Are we too busy inside our own little meetings?
