Conference in Manila

Early tomorrow morning I will be flying to Manila in the Philippines for a Christian Magazine Editor’s conference. I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard that such a thing existed and was further astonished when my husband agreed that I had to go!
Funnily enough, it all came about in the days immediately after I had prayed and written the renewed Footprints vision, so there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is indeed, a God-thing …
I will be travelling with a Footprints reader, Wendy, who usually lives in Japan as a missionary but is currently on a 12 month home assignment. Wendy is an Associate Editor with a missions magazine.
Please pray for safe travels, good health, good weather (it’s monsoon season and heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast for the whole week!), great fellowship, and much learning and inspiration, as well as fresh touch from God, for Janet, Wendy, and all on the conference.
