“Decadence” now available at Koorong!

Good news peoples - our book “Decadence: treat yourself to 10 years of Footprints” is now being stocked by Koorong bookstores across Australia - just in time for Christmas!

It is great to see large bookstore chains like Koorong, willing to give the “little guy” - independent publishers - a go. Anybody who has written and/or self-published a book will know what I mean when I say, it is VERY difficult to find a publisher here in Australia for Christian books - they practically don’t exist! Self-publishing can be the only option, but then it is a matter of getting your book into the hands of either distributors (never had any luck with them myself but would love to hear from anybody who has), or the bookstores.

I still find the best way of selling books is “back of room” sales when a member of the Footprints Team (usually me, but sometimes Nicola or Melanie) is invited to be a guest speaker at a function. Speaking (excuse the pun!) of which - we are now taking bookings for 2009 so if you are interested in booking an inspirational speaker for your women’s event, feel free to email editor@footprintsaustralia.com.
